Many people said that nurses can always be "cool" in front of life and death as nurses are used to face in these circumstances. But, for me, I can never be "cool". I have only trained to be calm so far. Knowing my best friend's dad passed away; suddenly I did not know how to reassure her. Listening to her voice, she was so brave and calm. As she said, she was proud to be a nurse because her nursing care really helped her dad a lot in his last few months. Yes, I totally agree with her. Nurses can know how to look after their families and seldom have any unnecessary false hope towards life and death. No false hope makes mind clear but in the same time it also makes you feel sad and desperate. Of course, this fate cannot be unaccepted if I am still a nurse.
